Guildford Register Office Wedding – Natural Surrey Wedding Photography

Last year I photographed a lovely little ceremony at Guildford Register Office, and even though it was short coverage, it was full of the kind of moments I love to capture as a wedding photographer; genuine emotion, relaxed energy and nothing too staged.

Annie and Harry wanted to keep things simple: a meaningful civil ceremony with their closest people, followed by a casual meal afterwards. I photographed the ceremony itself, a few natural shots outside, and then left them to enjoy the rest of their day together, just how they planned.

For this wedding, everything felt easy and stress-free. Annie and Harry arrived smiling, had a quick chat with the registrar, exchanged their vows, and before they knew it they were walking back down the aisle as newlyweds. It was simple in the best possible way.

Natural and Candid Photos Around Guildford

Once the ceremony finished, we stepped outside for a handful of relaxed portraits. I always keep this part super natural; no stiff posing, just the two of them being themselves and enjoying the moment.

Whilst we chose to take photos outside the venue, Guildford has plenty of corners and cobbled streets that work nicely for a few quick portraits. We were super lucky that the light on the day played along perfectly!
